Pre Session Interactions
I have updated my new client health intake to include specific questions regarding COVID-19
In addition, I am required to call every client the day before every appointment to ask the following questions:
- Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above?
- Do you have now, or have you recently had, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath, new rash or lesions, any loss of sense of smell and/or taste?
- Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms?
- Have you travelled to COVID-19 hot spots recently?
If you answer Yes to one or more of the above questions you will need to reschedule/cancel your massage. You won’t be charged any fee for the cancellation even if it’s less than 24 hours from your appointment.
The day of the massage
Clients should wait in their car or outside and will be contacted when I’m ready for the appointment. Every client is required to wash their hands before the massage and wear a face covering, at least when laying face down. I will wear a mask as well, and upon request I will be wearing gloves. I invite you to limit the use of cash and preferably pay in advance online or use debit/credit cards or Venmo/ Zelle.
To limit as much as possible the spread of the virus:
In addition to changing linens, clean blankets will be used for each client
A thorough disinfection of all surfaces, chair, bolsters, oil bottles, massage table, doorknobs, and surfaces will be performed after each massage
